Soccer des Collines needs your help with the following functions

Coach/ Assistant Coach

No experience is necessary, the Club will provide training sessions before the season starts, support throughout the year, pay for formal PNCE training offered by Soccer Outaouais for those interested in formal training, all the equipment necessary and a coach’s jersey.

For age groups U4-U8, you will encourage and lead your team as you deliver the pre-planned activities outlined in the club’s training manual. Soccer Des Collines provides additional support through the hiring of Monitors (Aide Techniques) who will help set up the activities, demonstrate the exercises and be a role model for the players

For age groups U10-U12, you will setup and run the practices as described in the Club’s pre-planned training manual. The club will have a Technical Supervisor on site who will guide and support you. You will also be managing your team for all games throughout the season. You are a role model for the players, who will create an environment that enables team spirit and mutual respect.

For age groups U14-U19, you are responsible for managing your team throughout the season including the running of practices and managing games. You will have access to a library of drills which can be found on the Club’s website. You are a role model for the players, who will create an environment that enables team spirit and mutual respect.

Team Manager (U10-U19)

The team manager usually takes care of team communications using the Mon Club Sportif application (provided by the Club), printing game sheets, and maintaining player passports.

Uniforms and Equipment

The Club will need volunteers to help with:

  • Preparing and distributing uniform kits for all age groups (U4-U19)
  • Ensuring the equipment storage units located at field locations are properly stocked with the material needed for practices and games.
  • Preparing and distributing coach’s bags the beginning of the year and re-stocking of material at the end of the year
  • Installing nets prior to the start of the season in Chelsea and La Pêche sectors

End of year Celebration

Due to pandemic restrictions, the Club has not been able to hold some very popular events. Namely, La fête du soccer in Cantley or Soccer Fest in Chelsea. We believe it is very important that this event takes place this year, but we need a committee of volunteers to organize, plan and deliver the event.
