Summer Program Pôle Excellence U7-U8 CDC3

Children born in 2018 and 2017

The U7-U8 program, now part of the PÔLE EXCELLENCE (CDC 3) and no longer under the Timbits program, is designed to provide a structured and enriching learning experience for young soccer players.

In alignment with the guidelines of Soccer Canada and Soccer Québec, it aims to meet the specific needs of each participant while fostering their overall development through tailored activities.

The PÔLE EXCELLENCE (CDC 3) specifically focuses on the ongoing discovery of soccer. Players will continue to explore and have fun while strengthening their motor skills and refining their technical abilities. The primary objective is to create an environment where young players can develop within a positive and structured framework, emphasizing social interactions and team cooperation. This program supports the continuous improvement of technical and tactical skills while maintaining a playful and engaging approach for everyone.

Program: Pôle Excellence CDC 3

U7-U8: Children born in 2018 and 2017

CDC (Club Development Center) – THE FUNDAMENTALS: Group training in the form of workshops.

The U7-U8 CDC 3 PÔLE EXCELLENCE program offers 3 activities per week, including 2 CDC sessions and 1 internal match. The PÔLE EXCELLENCE is designed to provide an enriching and continuous experience in the discovery of soccer. The young players will continue to explore the sport while enhancing their motor skills and perfecting their technical abilities. The main goal is to create a positive and structured environment where young players can develop at their own pace, with a particular focus on social interaction and teamwork.

The U7/U8 program is structured in a semi-sectorial manner, with three weekly activities. The young players will participate in their first CDC practice in their local sector. The second practice will take place in Chelsea, while the third activity, which is a match, will be held in a different sector each week, according to the match schedule. This structure allows for diverse learning environments while maintaining consistency in player development.

Match: Unlike the higher categories, U8s do not yet participate in an official league. However, our internal Soccer des Collines League (La LSC) will be organized in a 5-a-side format, allowing young players to put their learning into practice each week in a dynamic and fun environment.

These matches aim to foster the development of technical skills while encouraging teamwork and decision-making on the field. This program provides a stimulating environment, tailored to their age group, and helps prepare players for higher levels of competition in the future.

Participant Grouping: Players will be grouped by gender and sorted into groups based on their technical and physical abilities, as well as their individual progress.

  • The U8 players, on the other hand, will no longer wear the Timbits uniform, but the club uniform, which they will keep
