Description
The adapted soccer program provides an inclusive, safe, and engaging sports experience for youth with special needs.
Participants take part in a respectful, supportive environment tailored to their abilities, focused on fun, participation, and
personal development. Open to all, beginners and experienced players alike, the program offers flexible exercises adapted to
each participant’s level. Its objectives are to promote social inclusion, develop motor and soccer skills, encourage regular
physical activity, and strengthen self-confidence, autonomy, and teamwork.
The program is aimed at youth aged 7 to 14, including those with:
- An autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- An intellectual disability
- A physical or motor limitation
- Coordination difficulties
- Or any other special need requiring adapted support
Proceedings Training
The sessions are structured around :
- Simple technical drills (ball control, passing, shooting)
- Motor games and fun activities that promote socialization, self-confidence, and physical activity.
The content is adapted to the pace and abilities of each participant. A high coach-to-participant ratio ensures personalized and
safe supervision. Coaches are trained in the realities of adapted sport and work in collaboration with parents or professionals
when necessary.

Program Structure
- Duration: 8 weeks (summer)
- Frequency: 1 session per week
- Session length: 60 minutes
- Format: small groups for more personalized coaching
Schedule
- Program start: June 13
- Program end: August 15
- Break: no sessions from July 19 to August 1
- Day & time: every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- Location: Chelsea Field (23 Cecil Rd, Chelsea, QC J9B 0A5)
Registration cost: $120 per participant.
The fee includes specialized coaching, instructional materials, access to the facilities, as well as a complete player kit (jersey,
shorts, and socks) for the entire duration of the program.
